Executive Director: Experience using field research, academic scholarship, photography, and multi-media to develop lectures, workshops, exhibits, and course curriculum exploring the geography and culture of Earth to venues around the country.
WESTMINSTER COLLEGE 2008-present
Adjunct Professor: Experience designing curriculum and instructing college-level courses in environmental and global studies. Current courses include: The Geography of Conflict, The History and Future or Oil, Environmental Photojournalism, and The World Magazine.
INTERNATIONAL PHOTOJOURNALIST 1996-present
Freelance Photojournalist and Public Speaker: Experience working as a professional photojournalist, with images published in national magazines, newspapers, books, calendars, and corporate advertising campaigns. Also deliver lectures and workshops at venues nationwide.
WESTMINSTER COLLEGE 2008-2010
Global Studies Research Fellow: Scope of work included delivering multi-media lectures, designing campus exhibits, organizing an online student magazine, and working with students and faculty across disciplines to help integrate the college’s global and environmental learning objectives.
THE INSTITUTE OF ECOTOURISM 2002-2007
Executive Director: Responsibilities involved developing and implementing environmental education and conservation programs, organizing the Institute’s media and public relations campaigns, and managing the staff, budget, and facility of a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
